Savonlinna Choir – A Choir Committed to Musical Excellence
Savonlinna-kuoro is a mixed choir always striving for musical excellence. Our repertoire ranges from challenging, large choral works with orchestral accompaniment to a cappella music of various eras. Besides classical repertoire, we also sing popular music.

Recording
At the beginning of the anniversary year, we recorded the songs of Jaakko Löyty with baritone Esa Ruuttunen and Cello Spirituals. The Kaipaus album release concert was held at Savonlinna Cathedral on Easter Monday, April 22, 2019 at 15.00.

New singers are asked to perform a freely chosen song before the rehearsals for a small group, afterwards we have a short talk.
